Detroit Historical Museum

Founded in 1951, the Detroit Historical Museum is set to capture decades of Detroits history for generations in the future to experience. After its birth, its been one of the best places in the Midwest to learn about the culture through exhibits, tours, and special educational events. Like the Streets Of Detroit exhibit gives up a look into the transportation system of Detroit during the mid 1800s through the early 1900s. The Detroit Historical Museum has gone through some major renovations recently and reopened in November 2012 with a more space and improvements in technology for the exhibits. All new exhibits are continually being curated about Detroit's vast cultural history so come through soon and learn a thing or two about this great city.
